Welcome to this daily round-up of some of Italy’s most intriguing transfer rumours. Here are Monday’s best stories, courtesy of Italian transfer ace, Gianluca Di Marzio.

Crystal Palace have rejected Juventus’ initial offer for Jean-Philippe Mateta. The Bianconeri had proposed a loan of €2 million with an obligation to buy for €28 million, conditional upon qualification for next season’s Europa League.

Dutch goalkeeper Justin Bijlow is expected to join Genoa with the expiry of his Feyenoord contract. The 27-year-old will join the Rossoblu for a small compensation fee.

Napoli are reportedly keeping tabs on Chelsea’s Raheem Sterling. The Blues’ winger hasn’t made any official appearances this season.

Cruzeiro have rejected an initial offer from Como for 22-year-old Kaiki Bruno. It remains unclear whether Cesc Fabregas’s side will decide to push for the Brazilian left-back again or focus on Nuno Tavares.

Fiorentina are interested in Brighton centre-back Diego Coppola. The 22-year-old, formerly of Hellas Verona, has played just nine times in all competitions for the Seagulls since his arrival last summer.
