Italy names 13 candidate host cities for EURO 2032 alongside Türkiye | OneFootball

Italy has named 13 candidate host cities and 16 stadiums for EURO 2032, which it will co-host with Türkiye, after the 31 July documentation deadline passed.

The federation announced that the cities are Bari, Bologna, Cagliari, Florence, Genoa, Lecce, Milan, Naples, Palermo, Rome, Salerno, Turin and Verona.

Dossiers will now be evaluated, with a final list of host cities to be submitted to UEFA by one October.

Venues must meet strict UEFA standards, and there are concerns that few arenas currently satisfy them.

Bergamo and Udine are absent despite new stadiums for Atalanta and Udinese.

Each country will have five host cities.
