Inter Milan star Alessandro Bastoni has reiterated his love for the club amid growing interest from Barcelona.
During the latest episode of the ‘Wheel Talks’ via FCInterNews, Bastoni confirmed that he feels at home here.
Alessandro Bastoni has emerged as Barcelona’s top target heading into the summer transfer window.
Indeed, Los Blaugranas are ready to break the bank to sign the 26-year-old, whose future at San Siro is hanging by a thread.
Moreover, Barcelona chief Deco has already contacted Bastoni’s entourage to discuss a potential summer move.
Meanwhile, Inter would only sell their defensive mainstay for a monstrous offer.
Inter won’t let their best center-back leave the club for less than €70 million.
Despite Barcelona’s genuine interest in the former Atalanta man, they can hardly afford to match the Nerazzurri’s demands.
In the meantime, Bastoni seems to have no intention of severing ties with the runaway Serie A leaders.
“It is, in every respect, a second family,” the Italian star said. “You realize it when you are here. Also referring back to the dressing room, I can say that this is why, after so many years, we are still here.”
Bastoni and Federico Dimarco are both left-footed, just like Cristian Chivu’s assistant, Aleksandar Kolarov.
“We have good teachers like Aleksandar Kolarov, but it’s a natural gift.”
Finally, Bastoni named his childhood idols.
“At Inter, we’ve had many, like Andrea Ranocchia, Diego Godín, and others. We’ve been fortunate to always find great people.”
