Franck Haise has said that OGC Nice’s points tally after six games in Ligue 1 is “insufficient”. It comes after a draw against Paris FC on Sunday afternoon.

Nice led for much of the match against Paris FC. Sofiane Diop opened the scoring in the 40th minute but Jean-Philippe Krasso’s 88th-minute equaliser saw the shares spoiled at the Allianz Riviera. It leaves Le Gym 12th in Ligue 1.

“Two wins, one draw, and three losses, and not against teams that often play top of the table. It is insufficient. We expect better, but it is our reality. We have to up our level,” reacted Haise in a post-match press conference attended by Get French Football News.

He added, “We know that the level of our opponents will increase.” So far, Nice have played Toulouse FC, AJ Auxerre, Le Havre AC, FC Nantes, Stade Brestois, and Paris FC. In the next five games, they will face AS Monaco, Olympique Lyonnais, Lille OSC, and Paris Saint-Germain, all of whom are currently inside the top six in Ligue 1.
