‘It’s normal that they try to create noise…‘ – Barcelona star Dani Olmo reacts to recent sabotage attempts from Real Madrid | OneFootball

The eternal rivalry between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid has produced some of the greatest moments in football history. However, it is also true that both of these teams have also had some very ugly moments take place between them as well.

As it stands, Real Madrid continue to try to apply pressure on the Catalan club over the ongoing Negreira case. Despite not finding much success in that regard, Los Blancos remain determined to find some kind of excuse to justify their underwhelming performances in Spain across recent years.

Unfortunately for them, the players at the club seem to be quite unfazed by all their commotion regarding the Negreira case. In a recent interview, as quoted by Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona star Dani Olmo even spoke about the whole issue:

Furthermore, the Spanish midfielder even stated that the team remains as determined as ever to face Real Madrid next season as well. While acknowledging that the opposition is looking to improve, he simultaneously declared that Barça will keep getting better as well:

“But we’re focused on our own work and on continuing to win. They’re looking to improve, but so are we, and we get better every year.”

With that kind of mentality, it is no surprise to see why this team continues to improve under Hansi Flick and remains determined to achieve even more.

As for Olmo’s current priorities, he will be looking to take Spain to the next round of the FIFA World Cup. To do that, however, he will need to help his team overcome Portugal, and a certain key battle in that game could prove to be very decisive.
