Jack Baldwin has signed for Hornchurch following his departure from Colchester United.
Hornchurch manager Daryl McMahon said the centre-back is a major addition, describing him as a leader and organiser who can lift standards on and off the pitch.
The 32-year-old previously featured for Hartlepool United, Peterborough United, Bristol Rovers, Ross County and Northampton Town, and has made more than 280 EFL appearances.
Baldwin joined Sunderland from Peterborough United in summer 2018 on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee after the Black Cats’ relegation to League One.
He made 42 appearances for Sunderland and scored 3 goals, his first coming in a 2-1 win over Bradford City in October 2018. He left Wearside in summer 2020.
He arrives at the non-league Urchins ahead of the new season.
