Manchester United loaned out pair Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford have taken to social media again.
The two England internationals enjoyed a strong relationship at United.
They did perform briefly together in a United shirt with the 2022/2023 season likely being their best season together at Old Trafford.
Nonetheless both have fallen out with different managers at United and it is unlikely to see either play for the club again despite only being on loan.
Whilst Rashford is currently on loan at FC Barcelona, he spent the last half of last season at Aston Villa, Sancho’s new team.
After making his debut he posted on social media thanking fans for their support.
Sancho, who was on loan at Chelsea at the time, controversially posted the message “freedom” in response. Indicating that Rashford could now be set free after being released from Manchester United.
It is safe to say United fans were not impressed and Rashford was also reportedly not too keen on Sancho’s public criticism of the club.
Sancho took to social media once again and posted after last weekend’s draw with Sunderland.
He posted, “unfortunate not to get the win over the weekend, head up and go again to make things right!”
Rashford was ready to respond as he posted a blue heart emoji in the comments section, showing his agreement with Sancho.
Obviously Rashford will have had a personal connection to both the club and his teammate but United fans will once again be unimpressed with their social media activity.
For Sancho, it is the same old story of greater activity online than on the pitch as he has struggled to make any sort of impact at Villa Park to date.
