There have been promising updates regarding Jadon Sancho’s potential exit from Manchester United.

Italian heavyweights Juventus are believed to be leading the race for his signature.

Sancho to Juve heating up

Recently, The Peoples Person relayed reports that Emeka Obasi, Sancho’s agent, was in Turin to finalise his client’s move to Juventus.

It was also claimed that an agreement between the clubs was close, with a medical potentially scheduled before the end of the week.

But just as Juve fans were warming to the idea of Sancho’s arrival, fresh developments have emerged.

Inter inquire about Sancho

TBR Football now claim that their Serie A rivals, Inter Milan, have muscled in on their Old Trafford raid.

The 2025 Champions League finalists are keen to sign Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman. However, negotiations with the Bergamo club have proven difficult.

Their initial bid for Lookman was rejected, and while they continue to seek an agreement, they have begun exploring alternatives.

Sancho is one of those alternatives, and they have already taken a step forward.

According to TBR, “Inter Milan CEO Giuseppe Marotta has had contact with both Manchester United and Sancho to ask about him and what a deal might look like.”

Whether the Nerazzurri received a positive response remains unclear.

But with Sancho reportedly open to playing in Serie A next season and willing to take a pay cut for that, it is no surprise they are interested.

INEOS would welcome a transfer battle

With Napoli out of the running, having moved on to other targets, Inter only have Juve to challenge for Sancho’s signature.

Whether the Old Lady responds to potential hijack remains to be seen.

Either way, a bidding war for Sancho is something INEOS would gladly entertain, hoping to extract as much value as possible from the deal.
