Jamal Musiala undergoes surgery | OneFootball

Bayern Munich have confirmed that Jamal Musiala has undergone minor, routine surgery, upon his return from the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

“The procedure is part of the standard medical protocol following his serious injury last summer and had long been scheduled for the period after the tournament in North America. Thanks to the procedure, the attacker will be able to complete pre-season according to a clearly structured plan, ensuring he’ll be back in time for the first of FC Bayern’s competitive fixtures,” read a statement on the club’s website.

Musiala started three out of four games at the World Cup and scored in the Germany’s opening 7-1 win against Curaçao, but failed to register a goal contribution in the following three games as the Nationalelf exited the competition in the last 32 at the hands of Paraguay after losing 5-4 on penalties.
