Former Premier League defender Jamie Carragher has given a dark prediction on who will be Chelsea manager next season.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock this week, as a Chelsea fan, you would have seen the drama going on around Enzo Maresca and comments he made after the Everton game on Saturday.
It certainly put the focus and news content firmly around the Blues head coach and has caused a lot of reactions and opinions as a result.
Maresca was forced to clarify that his relationship with the sporting directors and owners of the club was actually OK, in the embargoed section of the pre-match press conference for the Cardiff game tonight.
Although the owners reportedly do not like what Maresca has done and said, it doesn’t sound like they will be pulling the trigger on his employment at the club any time soon, according to one exclusive report out yesterday.

Carragher, who was covering the Monday Night Football on Sky Sports last night, does not think Maresca will be Chelsea manager come next season.
Carragher said:
“Maresca comments? That ain’t uncertain, he’s talking about the owner and sporting directors. This is a classic case of accepting the job terms and conditions, then he does really well and feels like he should have more power, he’s calling something out, they didn’t get him a centre back, the problem is if he continues this way there’s only one winner, and that’s not him.”
Carragher continued:
“I don’t see Maresca managing at Chelsea next season.”
