According to Superdeporte, Javi Guerra’s LaLiga best XI was one reason Valencia reacted in Mallorca and left with a point. The midfielder set up Umar Sadiq’s goal and stood out in the team’s few attacking moves.

He later set out his picks on LaLiga’s cameras, naming what he sees as the championship’s best XI. The side blends youth, emerging talent and players performing now in Spanish football.

In goal, Guerra opts for the security of Joan García, the Barcelona goalkeeper praised for consistency and reflexes.

At the back he draws a three of Dean Huijsen, Pau Cubarsí and César Tárrega. Huijsen offers build-up and stature, Cubarsí tactical intelligence and surprising maturity, while Tárrega brings force and reliability.

Midfield is the engine. Pablo Barrios supplies energy and range, alongside Guerra himself for timing and organisation. Pedri adds poise, creativity and vision, with Jude Bellingham bringing power, goals and leadership.

Up front, pace, dribbling and end product define the trio. Lamine Yamal and Nico Williams operate wide with constant threat in one-on-ones and vertical running. Roberto Fernández of Espanyol is the chosen focal point.
