Javier Galiano steps down today as the first team's delegate after 18 years of uninterrupted service to the Club, on the occasion of his retirement.

Galiano brings to an end an exemplary chapter marked by commitment, professionalism, and daily dedication. For nearly two decades, he has been a key figure in the internal functioning of the locker room and in coordinating all logistical and organizational aspects of the first team, contributing decisively to the sporting and institutional growth of Girona FC.

Before joining Girona FC, Javier Galiano had a distinguished career as a referee, where he gained extensive experience in the world of professional football. This background allowed him to carry out his role as a delegate with rigor, knowledge of the rules, and great management skills in competitive situations.

During his time at Girona FC, Galiano has been a direct witness to historic moments for the Club, such as promotions to the First Division and consolidation in the elite of Spanish football. Always discreet and efficient, he has become a reference figure for players, the coaching staff, and the rest of the Club's personnel.
