Jean-Michel Aulas reminded over La Duchère stadium proposal as ethics body closes case | OneFootball

Jean-Michel Aulas has been reminded by the FFF’s National Ethics Council after proposing a new stadium in La Duchère during his Lyon mayoral campaign. According to L'Équipe, the council has now closed the case.

The CNE opened a review on its own initiative to consider a possible conflict of interest, as Aulas is a vice-president of the federation.

To remain in his federation role while running for office, he had been told not to use that position for electoral purposes and to avoid campaign promises linked to football.

The council was set to state that, after deliberation, it had written to Aulas to remind him of the need to respect these rules and to ensure football is not used for electioneering.

Aulas immediately took note of the letter.
