Jeremy Monga, the Championship’s youngest scorer, joins Manchester City | OneFootball

Manchester City have signed 17-year-old winger Jeremy Monga from Leicester on a five-year deal, with the move confirmed on Saturday. Monga is the youngest goalscorer in Championship history.

He turned 17 on Friday. According to The Athletic, the transfer would be worth £12.5 million including add-ons, about €14.7 million.

Monga set the Championship mark last August, surpassing Jude Bellingham’s record.

In April 2025 he became the second youngest player to appear in the Premier League, at 15 years and 271 days, for Leicester.

He arrives in Manchester after breaking age records in both divisions.
