Jesse Lingard joins Corinthians on free, contract until 2026 with option | OneFootball

Jesse Lingard has joined Corinthians on a free after leaving FC Seoul. The 33-year-old attacking midfielder moves to Brazil.

The São Paulo club said he has signed a contract until the end of 2026, with an automatic extra year if set targets are met.

Lingard left his boyhood club Manchester United in 2022. He then spent two years with FC Seoul, joining in February 2024, making 67 appearances and scoring 19 goals before departing three months ago.

Corinthians are in the Copa Libertadores after winning the Brazilian Cup on 21 December 2025.

In Brazil he will reunite with Memphis Depay, his former United team-mate in 2015 to 2016. The ex-England international has 32 caps and six goals, and made 232 appearances for United between 2014 and 2022.
