Jhon Lucumi joins Juventus from Bologna for around €20m | OneFootball

Jhon Lucumi has joined Juventus from Bologna on a four-year contract for around €20m. The 28-year-old centre-back becomes the latest addition to the Bianconeri squad.

The club announced the signing on Monday morning, six days before their Serie A opener away to Frosinone.

Lucumi had been a mainstay at Bologna across four seasons, having previously played for Genk in Belgium.

He impressed at the last World Cup, starting every match for a Colombia side that conceded only one goal and reached the last 16. They were eliminated by Switzerland after a 0-0 draw after extra time, 3-4 on penalties.

He is Juventus’s fifth arrival of the window, following right-back Zeki Çelik, who joined on a free from Roma after a spell at Lille. Bosnian winger Kerim Alajbegovic signed from Bayer Leverkusen for €32m, and young forward Jeff Ekhator arrived from Genoa for €16m. French striker Randal Kolo Muani completed a permanent move from PSG for €38m, returning after a loan between January and June 2025.
