Joane Gadou set to join Borussia Dortmund from RB Salzburg | OneFootball

L'Équipe reports that Borussia Dortmund and RB Salzburg have reached an agreement in principle over French defender Joane Gadou, with a summer fee around €20m excluding bonuses.

The 19-year-old is expected to move after two seasons in Austria. Dortmund are second in the Bundesliga and already qualified for next season’s Champions League.

Salzburg signed him from Paris Saint-Germain for €10m at the start of the 2024-2025 campaign. The Red Bull-owned club are now set to sell him to Dortmund.

Once final details are settled, he is expected to sign a five-year contract.

Gadou has made 33 appearances in all competitions this season, including seven in the Europa League. He featured against Olympique Lyonnais in a 0-2 defeat on 2 October.
