João Brandão voted Segunda Liga Coach of the Month for February | OneFootball

João Brandão has been voted the Segunda Liga’s Coach of the Month for February, with FC Porto B now eighth and just two points off third.

According to O Jogo, the award was decided in a ballot organised by Liga Portugal.

Brandão received 42.9% of the votes cast by second-tier coaches, finishing ahead of Carlos Fonseca of Académico de Viseu on 17.8% and Carlos Fangueiro of Leixões on 12.6%.

Across four February fixtures, FC Porto B beat Académico de Viseu 3-1, Paços de Ferreira 1-0 and Torreense 3-0, and drew 2-2 away to Leiria.

The 43-year-old oversees Porto’s B team.
