Joao Cancelo makes history: first player to win four of the five main European leagues after La Liga title with Barcelona

Joao Cancelo has made history after Barcelona were crowned as La Liga champions on Sunday night.
The full-back has become the first player in history to have won four of Europe's top-five leagues, after adding La Liga to his vast collection of honours.
Barcelona beat Real Madrid 2-0 at the weekend to secure a second straight Spanish title. Goals from Marcus Rashford and Ferran Torres earned the Catalans the points in El Clásico, kick-starting the celebrations at the Camp Nou.
Cancelo is celebrating a first-ever major trophy with Barcelona, having returned to the Spanish side for a second spell in January. The 31-year-old made 13 league appearances, scoring once, since joining from Al-Hilal in the winter window.
Cancelo has now won seven league titles across his career and has achieved the unique feat of winning four different domestic divisions, among Europe's top-five leagues.
He was part of theJuventus team that won Serie A during the 2018/19 season, and later lifted three Premier League titles with Manchester City.
The Portugal international added the Bundesliga during a loan spell atBayern Munich in 2022/23, before this season's La Liga triumph. He also won a Portuguese Primeira Liga title with his first club, Benfica.
