On Thursday, 21 August 2025, Joao Mario's presentation press conference took place at the Allianz Stadium.

These are the words of the Portuguese winger:

THE FIRST DAYS IN BLACK AND WHITE

"They have been incredible, I have settled in very well with this team. I am part of a group with enormous quality, and it has been very easy to settle in. Francisco Conceicao has been a great support in these first few weeks. I already knew him and we have played together in the past. I have a good relationship with all of my teammates. They all welcomed me very well, and we are bonding both on and off the pitch. I was surprised by the greatness of this club. It is one of the best in the world, and I am very proud to be a part of this team. I would like to contribute to achieving as many wins as possible, as Juventus deserves. I feel that we are ready to start the season.

JOAO'S CHARACTERISTICS

"I felt good in my first few appearances on the pitch. The coach's demand for attacking football has made me feel immediately at ease. Carrying the ball forward is definitely one of my strengths, and I need to work on improving this quality even further. I am trying to improve day by day.

THE ITALIAN LEAGUE AND THE START OF THE SEASON

"I've watched several Italian league and Juventus matches in the past. I know that Serie A is a strong, competitive, very physical and intense league. We start against Parma on Sunday, and it won't be easy. We're preparing as best we can for the opening match of the season and we'll go out there with the sole aim of winning."
