João Neves topped the online ratings as PSG retained the Champions League, drawing 1-1 with Arsenal in Budapest then winning 4-3 in the shootout.
According to L'Équipe, more than 15,000 readers scored the players, and public marks were generally kinder than the newsroom’s. Luis Enrique, crowned for a third time, received 7.6 from voters compared with 6 in the paper’s grades.
Neves, especially busy after PSG’s equaliser, earned 7.2. Marquinhos and Willian Pacho followed on 6.6.
Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes completed a well-regarded back line with 6.2 and 6. Mendes, however, was marked 4 by the journalists after missing a penalty in the shootout.
Only Fabian Ruiz dipped below 6 in attack with 5.8 after a shaky start. Vitinha posted 6.4. Little-used Matveï Safonov still drew 6.2 from voters.
Up front, Désiré Doué and Ousmane Dembélé each received 6.1. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored 6.2, helped by the penalty he won for the equaliser.
Arsenal’s average was 4.9. The public were gentler on Mosquera 4.4, Trossard 4.4 and Martin Odegaard 4.6. Best-rated were David Raya 6.1, William Saliba 5.9 and goalscorer Kai Havertz 5.8. Others marked down included Jurrien Timber 4.6, Viktor Gyökeres 4.2, Bukayo Saka 4.5 and Declan Rice 5.3. Mikel Arteta’s 4.1 was the lowest from the London side.
