João Pedro Tchoca is continuing rehabilitation at CT Dr Joaquim Grava after inguinal hernia surgery on 8 May.
The squad are on holiday after the 3-1 win at Grêmio and, according to ge.globo, will report back on 25 June.
On Saturday, the 22-year-old was pictured in the gym with physios and forward Kayke, who ruptured his left ACL and is due back in 2027. He also did ball work with physiotherapist Amil Henrique.
His operation was performed by gastrosurgeon Walter Ayres Júnior at Hospital Vila Nova Star. Corinthians have not set a return date. Similar cases with Hugo Farias and Gustavo Henrique suggest one to two months, pointing to a comeback after the World Cup.
Tchoca last featured in the 0-0 draw at Chapecoense on 19 March at Arena Condá. He was then on the bench against Flamengo and Fluminense before April brought groin pain, initially treated as pubalgia, and a subsequent hernia diagnosis under Fernando Diniz.
In January, a loan move to Torino fell through after he failed a medical, with further tests indicating arthritis. The deal included a purchase option and could have been worth up to €8.5 million, about R$49 million then.
If his recovery stays on that timeline, he could be available for the friendly against FC Cascavel on 12 July at 16:00 at Estádio Olímpico Regional in Paraná. Corinthians’ next official fixture has a 22 July base date against Remo at Neo Química Arena in the 19th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.
