Jonas Gonçalves salutes Benfica bond on Estádio da Luz return during 2-2 draw with Braga

Former Benfica striker Jonas Gonçalves returned to the Estádio da Luz stands for the meeting with Braga, speaking warmly about his bond with supporters. He now runs a local business in Brazil.
"This is my home. I love this club. Hopefully Benfica play a great game and win," the former No 17 and No 10 told BTV before kick-off.
"That bond is very strong. When I come back I try to give that affection back. They were the most incredible years of my life and I will always carry Benfica in my heart," he added.
During half-time, fans paid tribute to the women’s football and futsal teams. The football side, led by Ivan Baptista, secured a sixth consecutive national championship. The futsal team, coached by Paulo Roxo, lifted another Taça de Portugal.
The match finished 2-2. Rafa Silva and Vangelis Pavlidis, from the penalty spot, scored for Benfica, with Pau Victor and Gorby replying for Braga. Benfica remain third on 77 points.
