As part of the ongoing development of the project led by Gabriel Milito ahead of the 2026 Apertura and Leagues Cup, Club Guadalajara’s Sporting Department officially announces the signing of Jordan Carrillo, a player who will bring talent, youth, and creativity to the team while fulfilling one of his biggest dreams: wearing the jersey of the club he has always supported.

With his arrival, Chivas adds another quality piece to its roster as it prepares for a demanding second half of the year, aiming to be a contender in both competitions and determined to make a deep run in Liga MX and the Leagues Cup.

Who is Jordan Carrillo?

Born on November 30, 2001, in Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico.
Primarily operates as an attacking midfielder, although he is also capable of playing on either wing.
Right-footed player.

His Career Path

Carrillo developed through Santos Laguna’s academy and made his Liga MX debut on July 25, 2020.
In 2022, he joined Sporting de Gijón of Spain’s Segunda División on loan, gaining valuable experience in European football.
Following his stint in Spain, he returned to Mexican football and later represented Pumas, where he delivered several standout performances during the previous semester.
He has been involved in multiple Mexican National Team processes and was included in the preliminary squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Won the Gold Medal with Mexico at the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games.
