Jordan Ferri ‘open to’ France return after difficult Sampdoria spell | OneFootball

Foot Mercato reports that Jordan Ferri, 34, is open to a return to France this summer after a difficult first season at Sampdoria.

He left Ligue 1 a year ago to sample Italian football with Sampdoria in Serie B, but managed only six appearances in all competitions.

Despite limited minutes, he remains keen to relaunch his career and would be receptive to an interesting project in Ligue 1 or Ligue 2.

He is under contract with Sampdoria until 2027, so any French suitor would need to agree terms with the Italian club.

The Cavaillon-born midfielder, a Lyon academy graduate, has 505 senior appearances with 29 goals and 36 assists.
