Jorge Jesus wins April coach of the month after perfect run with Al Nassr | OneFootball

Jorge Jesus, the former Benfica boss now at Al Nassr, has been named April's coach of the month in the Saudi league after a perfect run.

According to Glorioso 1904, the Portuguese won all four league games in April, strengthening his side's hold on the competition. Across that stretch Al Nassr scored 10 and conceded two.

A standout result came against Al Ahli, the Asian champions and third in the table, as Al Nassr asserted themselves against one of the division's strongest opponents.

Al Nassr lead with 79 points, ahead of Al Hilal. Although they have played one game more, the 71-year-old coach has his team edging closer to the title.

Cristiano Ronaldo and former Benfica forward João Félix have been influential, underpinning that consistency and fuelling hopes of reclaiming the crown last won in 2018/19 under Rui Vitória.

Next up is a visit to Al Quadisiya at Prince Saud Bin Jalawi Stadium on Sunday 3 May at 19:00. Jesus could be crowned Saudi champion on Sunday, ending the Riyadh club's drought.
