Jorginho reaches 10 Flamengo penalties, keeps perfect record in 3-1 Santos win | OneFootball

Flamengo beat Santos 3-1 on Sunday in the Brasileirão, with Jorginho converting a penalty for their second goal. The midfielder’s strike was his 10th for Flamengo from the spot, preserving a perfect record.

According to Coluna Do Fla, he became the club’s designated penalty taker after arriving in June 2025.

He has scored seven penalties during matches and three in shootouts. The in-game conversions came against Bayern Munich, Palmeiras, Fluminense, Bragantino, PSG, Lanús and Santos.

Across 41 Flamengo appearances, he has seven goals and three assists. His honours include a Libertadores, a Brasileirão and a Campeonato Carioca.

Flamengo are back in action on Wednesday, opening their Libertadores campaign against Cusco (PER) at the Estádio Inca Garcilaso de la Vega in Peru. Kick-off is 21:30 Brasília time.
