José Mourinho’s silence over Benfica’s renewal offer has unsettled the club as a 10-day window expired on Tuesday, 26 May, Record writes that.

The board led by Rui Costa is not fully satisfied with recent events, having anticipated an explanation that never arrived.

Until then, his stance is delaying preparations for the new season.

His continuity is not guaranteed even if no communication arrives by the end of Tuesday, 26 May. Since the end of the campaign he has not discussed a renewal or his future with Rui Costa or any other director.
