José Mourinho ‘wants to return’ to Real Madrid despite Benfica contract | OneFootball

According to Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid have been told José Mourinho wants to return to the club.

He remains under contract with Benfica until summer 2027 and has, on several occasions, said he intends to stay at the Estádio da Luz.

The claims surface at a time when the battle for places in next season's Champions League is ongoing.

Mourinho has recently been strongly linked with Real Madrid, as well as with Newcastle and Chelsea.

For now, the 63-year-old is focused on Benfica.
