It was the second leg game of Chelsea’s first knockout tie against PSG, having lost the first game 5-2 over in France. This meant Chelsea lost the overall tie 8-2 on aggregate, providing a hugely embarrassing outcome for Rosenior and his players.
Chelsea fans were seen leaving the game early, some at half time, some after 60 minutes, but the majority well gone by full time. It was a sad state of affairs and a dark day for Chelsea’s owners as they approach four years in charge.

Liam Rosenior speaks about Chelsea’s defeat against PSG.
In quotes picked up on X after the game last night, Laurens said:
“I was behind Rosenior, there wasn’t a single instruction that went through!”
Now that is what you call a very worrying sign already. Rosenior has only been in charge since January and this is a sign that the players are not listening to him. Is he losing the dressing room already? Surely not!?
Pundit Owen Hargreaves had already given his take on the game and the whole Chelsea project. It was a scathing but true rant at the owners and everything they are doing wrong.
And if you want to put yourself through that torture again, you can see all three goals PSG scored on the night in the clips here.
