Jovane Cabral trains with Grêmio before official unveiling, first images released | OneFootball

Grêmio on Thursday released the first photos of Jovane Cabral training at CT Luiz Carvalho, working with the ball alongside players who did not travel to Bolivia.

He was formally unveiled that morning and, according to Globo.com, had already been training with his new team-mates in recent days.

The 28-year-old, who played at the 2026 World Cup for Cabo Verde, has signed a deal through to the end of 2027.

He is expected to make his Grêmio debut only after the 20th, when the international transfer window opens.

For that reason he is not with the squad that travelled to Bolivia for Thursday’s Copa Sudamericana match against Bolívar.

Standing 1.74 metres, Jovane Cabral can operate off the left or centrally as a second striker.
