Juanlu Sánchez close to Bournemouth move with €11m fee and sell-on for Sevilla | OneFootball

The official confirmation of Juanlu’s move to Bournemouth should be imminent, with the Sevilla right-back having travelled to England this morning to join pre-season. According to Superdeporte, the deal is worth €11 million plus €two million in add-ons, and Sevilla retain 10% of any future sale.

The academy graduate left the training camp and is set to begin a new chapter after spending almost his entire career at Sevilla, including a loan at Mirandés.

If completed, it would be the club’s third outgoing of the summer. Nianzou terminated his contract with a year remaining to join Lille, and Akor Adams brought in close to €23 million including variables. Rafa Mir has also joined Aris Thessaloniki on loan.

Sevilla have already added Julio Díaz, Guridi, Sangante, Juan Iglesias and Fran González, and further signings are still expected for Luis Garía Plaza. Centre forward, central midfield and centre-back remain priorities to reinforce.

Not all news is positive, with four players currently away from the first-team group, Joan Jordan, Fábio Cardoso, Chidera Ejuke and Federico Gattoni. They do not figure in the Madrid-born coach’s plans and must leave before the window closes on one September at 23:59. The exits are considered urgent to shape a more competitive squad.
