Jürgen Klopp expected to sign contract until 2030 as Germany head coach | OneFootball

After Julian Nagelsmann stepped down as Germany head coach, the German Football Association (DFB) confirmed talks with Jürgen Klopp over the possibility of succeeding the 38-year-old.

According to Sky Germany, Klopp will sign a contract running until 2030 as Germany coach if everything goes according to plan.

Final negotiations between the DFB and the former Liverpool manager are scheduled to take place in New York over the weekend.

According to Sky, Klopp's departure from his position as Red Bull's Head of Global Soccer is considered a formality and will be finalised once his agreement with the DFB has been completed.

The 59-year-old took up the role in January 2025.
