Julien Duranville is transferring to Olympique Lyon | OneFootball

Duranville joined Dortmund from RSC Anderlecht in January 2023 at the age of 16 and was part of the first-team squad from the start. The Belgian made 15 appearances for BVB in the Bundesliga, nine in the UEFA Champions League, and one in the DFB-Pokal. In August 2024, he scored his only competitive goal for Borussia Dortmund’s first team in the first round of the DFB-Pokal against Phönix Lübeck. Duranville also made two appearances at the FIFA Club World Cup.

While in Dortmund, “Juju” earned a call-up to the Belgian national team. As an 18-year-old, he made his debut in September 2024 during a 3-1 victory over Israel. In the second half of last season, Duranville was loaned to FC Basel. For the Swiss club, he scored two goals and set up another in 16 league matches.
