Ivan Juric has ended his Atalanta contract by mutual consent, clearing the way for him to take charge of newly promoted Monza. Atalanta announced the termination this afternoon.
The Croatian is set for a Serie A return, with Monza now able to confirm him as their new coach after one year away from the top flight.
His recent spell has been turbulent. Since September 2024, he oversaw 12 games at Roma, then moved to Southampton in the same season for 16 matches before being dismissed.
He started the 2025-26 campaign with Atalanta and was sacked after 15 competitive fixtures.
Monza’s promotion was secured under Paolo Bianco, who left by mutual consent on June 19 after winning the play-offs. He has since been appointed by recently relegated Pisa in Serie B.
