Justin De Haas in Valencia after signing for Valencia CF next season | OneFootball

Justin De Haas is in Valencia during the international break, using the pause to familiarise himself with the city he will call home next season after signing for Valencia CF as a free agent. According to Superdeporte, he has travelled to sort personal matters before his move.

The Dutch centre-back shared an image of himself reading "The Red Light Therapy", described as a biohacking strategy to aid recovery and health. In the background the Senyera sits atop the Torres de Serrans.

He agreed terms after the winter window, able to negotiate freely as his contract with Portuguese side Famalicao runs down. He captains the club and wants to leave them in European competition before departing.

The agreement was later acknowledged by Ron Gourlay at a press conference, where he also praised the defender. De Haas will arrive to operate as a left-sided centre-back at Mestalla.

For now, De Haas is spending the international window in the city and getting to know his new surroundings. He remains focused on finishing the campaign with Famalicao before linking up with Valencia.
