Serie A duo Juventus and AC Milan are interested in recruiting the services of Tottenham Hotspur youth striker Ellis Lehane, according to the Daily Mail.
Spurs rejected an offer from Leece for the 18-year-old teenage sensation during the recently-closed January transfer window, and it remains to be seen whether they can keep him at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium club beyond the end of the season amid increasing interest in his services.
Lehane has bagged seven goals in 14 appearances for Spurs under-18s so far in 2024-25, with his performances attracting admiring glances from across the continent.
The Tottenham academy graduate has yet to make his debut for the first-team but is regarded as a key part of their future plans.
However, the promise of a clearer pathway to first-team football elsewhere could tempt him, and both Milan and Juve could look to lure him with such an offer.
Despite the attacking injuries which beleaguered manager Ange Postecoglou and his squad last month, Lehane did not get a chance with the senior team, and the North Londoners ended up recruiting the services of French striker Mathys Tel on loan from Bayern Munich.
It would have left the 18-year-old with the impression that he is not good enough for the team right now, and leaving could start to appeal to him ahead of the summer transfer window.
Lehane will not be short of suitors in the summer once it becomes clear that he is available for a transfer, but Spurs will be desperate to avoid the situation and keep him given his obvious potential.
He will look to keep impressing at youth team level going forward, and the Italians and several other clubs on the continent will keep monitoring him ahead of a potential summer swoop if Postecoglou remains unconvinced of his readiness to play at senior level.
