Juventus consider move for AC Milan’s Mike Maignan | OneFootball

Mike Maignan’s (30) situation at AC Milan remains unclear. The Frenchman was the subject of talks with Chelsea last summer, however, the Premier League side failed to reach a club-to-club agreement on a fee.

As a result, France’s No.1 remained at the San Siro. However, he did so with less than a year remaining on his contract. He is still yet to sign an extension with AC Milan and, naturally, there are once again rumours about his future at club level.

As per a report from Sacha Tavolieri, Maignan is attracting interest from a Serie A rival, Juventus. The Frenchman is the subject of interest from the Turin-based club, who would be allowed to hold talks over a pre-contract agreement from January. Equally, they could look to prise him away from AC Milan as soon as January, perhaps at a cut-price deal.

In any case, Tavolieri understands that Juventus are seriously considering the Frenchman as a replacement for their current No.1, Michele Di Gregorio.
