Juventus have ended their pursuit of Benfica goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin. Benfica are seeking 40 million euros, a figure the Turin club are not prepared to meet amid financial restraint.

However, a departure from the Estádio da Luz is not ruled out. Record writes that Trubin has a Premier League market and Benfica believe an English club could come close to their valuation.

The 24-year-old has spoken of his ambition to play in England. "There is no young player in the world who does not want to play in the Premier League. But I have to keep working hard to improve," he told Sky Sports in May.

Benfica remain relaxed about the goalkeeper’s future and will only consider a sale if an offer matches the financial expectations of the board led by Rui Costa.

Trubin made 50 appearances for Benfica in 2025/26, featuring in 32 Liga Portugal Betclic matches and 14 in the Champions League, plus two in the Taça de Portugal, one in the Taça da Liga and one in the Supertaça. He played 4,455 minutes and conceded 43 goals, and is valued at 25 million euros.
