Juventus are kicking the tires on a few defenders, anticipating some summer changes and could make an attempt to bring back two touted youngsters they are familiar with, Dean Huijsen and Tarek Muharemovic, La Stampa reports (via Tuttomercatoweb).

The Dutchman has donned Bournemouth and Real Madrid’s colors following his controversial exit. He’s been a regular for Los Merengues, both in La Liga and the UEFA Champions League. However, the club isn’t totally satisfied with its defense and could tweak it. The Bianconeri have a new brass and coach compared to when he left in 2024, primarily for financial reasons.

Juventus are waiting in the wings to see if Real Madrid will sell or loan out Huijsen to recoup their €60M investment and are ready to duel with Inter and other sides for Muharemovic, who has spent time in their youth academy.

They’d have an advantage over the competition if they targeted the Sassuolo starlet. The price tag would be slashed in half for them, as they are owed 50 percent of his future sale. Kenan Yildiz has stayed in touch with his former Next Gen teammates and would be thrilled to reunite with them.

Signing the former would amend one of their most glaring errors in recent history, as they severely underestimated his potential. Though, it doesn’t make a lot of sense for Real Madrid to move on from him. The figures are a problem, and a loan isn’t an enticing proposition. Instead, the latter has confirmed his level on the international stage. They’d be foolish not to at least seriously consider him or let him join other big clubs without getting anything substantial in return.
