Juventus gem excited to face Real Madrid at the Bernabeu – ‘Feels like a dream come true’ | OneFootball

Earlier this month, reports claimed that Juventus wonderkid Kenan Yildiz emerged as a potential target for Real Madrid as they scour the market for a replacement for Vinicius Jr.

The Turkish international has been a consistent performer in the Serie A, having already racked up over 30 goals in goal involvements in 93 competitive matches for Juventus.

Interestingly, Yildiz will be playing against Real Madrid this midweek as Los Blancos take on Juventus in the UEFA Champions League.

Yildiz on facing Real Madrid

Heading into this crucial affair, Yildiz spoke to Turkish news outlet Sporx and offered his thoughts about facing Real Madrid this midweek.

The young attacker was notably asked whether or not the idea of playing at Santiago Bernabeu excites him.

“It’s amazing. Every child dreams of playing in that stadium. I think it’s one of the most beautiful stadiums in the world, and being able to play there now feels like a dream come true,” he said.

Yildiz added that facing a team of Real Madrid’s calibre will be a great experience for him and hopes for the best.

“Facing such a club in the Champions League is simply incredible. I hope everything goes well and that we play a great match,” he added.

Yildiz will indeed be a massive threat for the Real Madrid defence, which is dealing with quite a few injuries heading into this contest.

However, it must be noted that Real Madrid have a Turkish star of their own in Arda Guler, who has been in scintillating form this season and could make a difference against Juventus this week.

Having played together for the Turkish national team, the two certainly know each other well and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top at the Bernabeu.
