Liverpool look set for a busy January with several players now earmarked for a departure.
We could see the likes of James McConnell and Lewis Koumas fixed up with loan moves elsewhere for example - as they contemplate difficult spells away on loan during the first half of the season.
Others - such as Trent Kone-Doherty, Stefan Bajcetic and Jayden Danns may also be given the opportunity of first-team football elsewhere.
And in the case of Mohamed Salah and Federico Chiesa the future of two high-profile players may also be decided.
Salah has been targetted by Roma for a loan deal - although it’s more likely he sees out the season at Anfield at least.

But rumours are gathering steam about a return to Juventus for Chiesa. The 28-year-old joined the Reds back in September 2024 and despite establishing himself as a fan favourite since then he has never truly won over Arne Slot.
Signed for £12m and contracted until 2028 - Chiesa has been identified for a second stint at Juve - who are impressed with his ability to play across the frontline as well as a false nine.
Liverpool’s former sporting director Damien Comolli is now Juve’s general manager and is said by Gazzetta dello Sport to be mulling over a deal for the Italian international.
And Chiesa has a big backer in the dugout - his former Italy manager Luciano Spalletti who has recently taken over in Turin.
“As soon as he was informed, Luciano Spalletti said: maybe,” the report reads.
“Maybe because Spalletti is a huge admirer of Chiesa, perhaps his biggest fan of all: he famously called him the Sinner of football before Italy–North Macedonia at the Olimpico in Rome; he made him a starter throughout all four matches of the Azzurri’s bleak European Championship in June 2024; he has always seen him as the joker — either for a light attacking trident or as a wide option in a heavier offensive setup.”
Chiesa has only made one start for Liverpool in the Premier League this season - although he managed two top-flight goals from the bench. He has been consistently linked with the exit however - with teams in Serie A queuing up for the £150k per week ace.
