A deal between Juventus and Genoa involving Italy U21 striker Jeff Ekhator appears to be moving quickly and updates on Tuesday morning claim that the Bianconeri are looking to include Next Gen versatile full-back David Puczka as part of the deal.
According to reports from various outlets across Italy on Monday evening, Juventus are pushing to secure a surprise deal for Ekhator, whose current employers need to make a sale before the end of the month to help balance their books. This means that if a deal does go through, there is a chance it is settled before the end of the day.
According to updates from Gianluca Di Marzio on Tuesday, contact between the two clubs has continued through the morning. The two sides are discussing a package worth around €15m.

Juventus are also expected to include one of their own young talents to entice Genoa. The current suggestion is versatile full-back Puczka, who scored 10 goals from 51 league appearances for the Next Gen side in 2025-26.
If Puczka moves to Genoa as part of a deal for Ekhator, Juve are expected to keep hold of a buy-back option.
There are several other young Juventus players that could be offered to Genoa, including goalkeeper Giovannia Daffara, but he is also of interest to Parma according to the latest updates.
