Juventus’ summer transfer activity is defined by a web of negotiations, stalled moves, and strategic reshuffling as the club attempts to strengthen under Igor Tudor. According to Tutto Juve, Sportmediaset, Corriere della Sera, Spazio J, Calciomercato.com and Bianconera News, moves in both directions are taking shape, though several key operations remain unresolved.
The main tension lies up front, where Dusan Vlahovic’s decision to stay until his contract expires in June 2026 has frustrated club management. Juventus are ready to move on from the Serbian—who is considered available for transfer—but his refusal to depart or agree to a wage reduction has become a roadblock. This reluctance directly impedes the club's bid to sign Canadian forward Jonathan David. David has given his approval to join and is set to become a free agent from Lille in July, but negotiations remain incomplete, in part because agent fees of €15 million are still being contested and Juventus must wait for Vlahovic to depart before finalising the deal.
Other moves in attack are also up in the air. Juventus continue negotiations with Porto for Francisco Conceicao, but the €30 million release clause remains a sticking point and talks have yet to break the deadlock. As a contingency, Jadon Sancho is under consideration, but his high salary is a significant hurdle. The Bianconeri’s main focus remains Conceicao, though an opening for Sancho, potentially as a loan, is not ruled out.
Kenan Yildiz’s future is another priority, with strong interest from other clubs. Juventus are working towards extending his contract until 2030, making him a key component of their long-term plans. Meanwhile, Timothy Weah has rejected a move to Nottingham Forest and will decide his future after the Club World Cup. He has indicated he will not obstruct a sale but wants open communication if Juventus choose to move him on.
The club is also addressing its defensive setup. Aymeric Laporte is high on the list, with the Spanish centre-back eager to return to Europe this summer from Al Nassr. However, Juventus face competition from Athletic Bilbao and must bridge both the transfer fee, around €10 million, and Laporte’s substantial salary, which will need to be drastically reduced compared to his current €25 million per year. Bologna’s Jhon Lucumi is another defender under observation.
In the goalkeeping department, Mattia Perin is attracting interest from Atalanta, Bologna, and Sassuolo. After returning from injury, Perin will make the final call on a potential move as Juventus evaluate offers.
The club’s midfield has seen movement as well, with Paul Pogba officially joining Monaco after agreeing to a contract through 2027. Pogba’s departure prompted supportive messages from several Juventus teammates, who celebrated his return to football after injury and suspension.
Juventus’ ability to resolve contract stalemates and offload players will shape how their squad looks come the final days of the window. The club remains intent on a refresh, but much depends on key departures unlocking the next phase of business.
