Juventus ‘to swap’ João Mário with Bologna’s Emil Holm, pending player agreement | OneFootball

According to Fabrizio Romano, Juventus are exploring a swap that could send João Mário to Bologna and bring Emil Holm to Turin. The clubs are in negotiations over the Swedish right back.

Half a season after leaving Porto for Juventus, when Alberto Costa moved the other way, João Mário could be about to depart the Bianconeri in this window.

Personal terms with Holm are agreed and the player wants the switch, with completion dependent on João Mário reaching an agreement with Bologna.

Any deal would be a loan swap, with both players moving on temporary deals.

João Mário has one assist in 13 appearances for Juventus and has not been in Luciano Spalletti's plans. His last outing was on six January, playing 16 minutes against Sassuolo.
