Kadidiatou Diani announces departure from OL Lyonnes | OneFootball

Kadidiatou Diani has announced she is leaving OL Lyonnes, confirming the decision on Monday evening via Instagram.

The France forward, 31, joined in 2023 from Paris Saint-Germain and has 126 caps and 32 goals for France. The player said in a post that she wanted to thank everyone at the club.

She thanked supporters for being there in good times and tougher ones, said she had met wonderful people, grown and learned, and would keep many memories. She added that Lyon would always have a special place in her heart and this was not a goodbye, only a brief farewell.

Diani departs after 94 appearances and 43 goals, winning the French title with OL Lyonnes in 2024, 2025 and 2026.

She underwent knee surgery at the end of last season and missed the Champions League final, which Lyon lost to Barça 4-0.
