Bayern have raised the goalscoring bar in the Bundesliga after smashing the decades-long scoring record in 2025/26 with 122 goals. And Harry Kane has been at the heart of that achievement, scoring 36 of those – over 29 percent – to finish as the Bundesliga’s top scorer yet again.

It was also a momentous campaign for the 32-year-old as he reached 500 career goals for club and country at senior level back in February. This season he’s averaged a goal every 66 minutes in the Bundesliga. He’s also contributed 14 goals in 13 Champions League outings and already has seven in five in the DFB Cup ahead of next Saturday’s final against VfB Stuttgart.

Supported by his family, the team and the coaching staff, Kane has taken his game to another level in Munich. He’s marked that with yet more history by becoming the first player ever score over 25 goals and also be top scorer in his first three seasons playing in the Bundesliga to make it a hat-trick of kicker’s Torjägerkanone. Add in seven assists and Kane is the most prolific player in German football, followed closely by Michael Olise (15 goals, 19 assists) and Luis Díaz (15 & 13) to form one of the deadliest attacks in European football.

“We’ve had a fantastic season so far. We always strive to be better. The coach works tirelessly on helping us develop, and that’s the mentality we need in our football,” Kane recently said. It’s that attitude that marks him and Bayern out, always looking ahead to the next goal and milestone. That one comes next week in the DFB Cup final in Berlin where Kane will want to fire Bayern to yet more glory with his goals.

The striker also has more personal accolades in his sight. He leads the way in the race for the European Golden Shoe for the continent’s top scorer. Closest rivals Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe still have games left to play but need to score big to prevent Kane from winning the award for the second time after 2024.
