Kane scores twice as Bayern close in on Bundesliga title | OneFootball

Bayern Munich are 11 points clear at the top of the Bundesliga after a 3-2 win away from home in Der Klassiker.

It was Borussia Dortmund who took the lead in the North Rhine-Westphalia and there was some controversy over the goal.

Nico Schlotterbeck lunged in on Josip Stanisic with his foot bouncing off the ball and on to the player but got away with just a yellow card.

Just about five minutes later Daniel Svensson lofted in a freekick from the left that Schlotterbeck then nodded in beyond goalkeeper Jonas Urbig.

The league leaders were level early in the second half after a lovely floated ball over the defence was handed down by Serge Gnabry with Harry Kane finishing from close range.

Schlotterbeck was the centre of attention again for Bayern's second when he left out a foot in the area that caught Stanisic for a penalty. Kane did a stuttering run-up before putting his penalty beyond Gregor Kobel.

Dortmund got back into the game though and equalised in the 83rd minute after Marcel Sabitzer sent in a cross from the right that Svensson did really well to divert goalwards.

However, parity lasted just four minutes when Joshua Kimmich got to a cross that Dortmund didn't deal with and riffled the ball into the top corner to make it 3-2 to Bayern.

That result now sees Vincent Kompany's side 11 points clear of Dortmund at the top of the table who still stay six clear of third-placed Hoffenheim.
