According to Sky, the record champions even tried to sign the striker on deadline day, with FC Bayern submitting an official offer that Midtjylland rejected

Despite this rejection, interest has apparently not cooled

Midtjylland demands high transfer fee

However, a potential transfer is likely to be anything but cheap. According to Transferfeed, FC Midtjylland are demanding a transfer fee of around 45 million euros

Transfermarkt currently estimates the striker’s market value at around 22 million euros, although this has risen sharply in recent months. In the summer of 2025, the attacker was still worth just 13 million euros

For this very reason, Bayern are apparently considering an early transfer. Even if Kane extends his contract, the record champions could make another attempt next summer. The idea behind this is that Munich expect the striker’s market value to continue to rise significantly in the coming years

From Bayern’s point of view, an early move could therefore prove to be a strategically smart transfer in the long term – and lay the foundations for the time after Harry Kane.
