According to Diario Vasco, Karrikaburu now knows Matarazzo does not count on him and his departure is only a matter of time.

The first pre-season friendly took place last Saturday against Racing.

Before kick-off, Karrikaburu completed a solo running session on the Z7 pitch.

He was the only player in the squad without any fitness issues who did not get on the pitch in that opening friendly.

His situation could be resolved this week.
